ASSISTANT BUYER/DEMAND PLANNER : APPLY NOW

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock replenishment parameters in order to create accurate customer orders
  • Managing stock operations with regards to all inventory related queries and issues
  • Daily electronic ordering & reporting
  • Ensuring all promotional items are in stock at store and DC level
  • Feedback to replenishment function
  • Support the replenishment function.
  • Meeting customer expectation by allocating stock to stores
  • Resolving problems and communicating efficiently & effectively to buyers and suppliers
  • Relationship management
  • Stock level analysis
  • Stockholding reports.
  • Compliance assurance
  • Advice buyers of poor supplier performance.
  • Assist buyers with supplier development projects
  • Supply management with regular information regarding stock (stock turns, stock movement, ABC classification, etc.)

 

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Tertiary Education:            BCom Degree in Supply Chain (or Related Degree)
  • Previous Experience:       Minimum 2 years experience in Supply Chain in an FMCG environment
  • Knowledge/Skill:                Product and market knowledge,   computer skills in excel
