Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain stock replenishment parameters in order to create accurate customer orders
- Managing stock operations with regards to all inventory related queries and issues
- Daily electronic ordering & reporting
- Ensuring all promotional items are in stock at store and DC level
- Feedback to replenishment function
- Support the replenishment function.
- Meeting customer expectation by allocating stock to stores
- Resolving problems and communicating efficiently & effectively to buyers and suppliers
- Relationship management
- Stock level analysis
- Stockholding reports.
- Compliance assurance
- Advice buyers of poor supplier performance.
- Assist buyers with supplier development projects
- Supply management with regular information regarding stock (stock turns, stock movement, ABC classification, etc.)
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Tertiary Education: BCom Degree in Supply Chain (or Related Degree)
- Previous Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Supply Chain in an FMCG environment
- Knowledge/Skill: Product and market knowledge, computer skills in excel
