Compiler / Accounts – Queenstown: Apply Now : Salary R30,000
Introduction
Our client in the Agricultural Sector, requires a Compiler/Accounts candidate in Queenstown in the Eastern Cape.
Duties & Responsibilities
Produce monthly management statements
Review VAT reconciliations and VAT returns
Prepare working files for Annual Independent Review and Annual Audit for the external auditors
Attend to tax computation for all group entities
Update Fixed Asset Registers
Review, identify and resolve abnormal General Ledger entries
Liaise and work closely with bookkeepers
Time to time processing and retrieval of reports from Xero
Ad-hoc tasks as required from time-to-time
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
BCom degree or an equivalent Financial Accounting Qualification
Financial Completed Articles
Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
Strong in Excel and fast learner of new sytems
Good knowledge of Caseware Working Papers
Good knowledge of Xero
Attention to detail and a good understanding and actioning of financial statements
Package & Remuneration
Remuneration : R25,000 – R30,000 (Depending on qualifications & experience)
Matric
